The Dao of Dorian
The Dao of Dorian started as a simple idea: go back through Scrubs and pay attention to what it was actually saying beneath the jokes. At some point, it stopped being about the show and started becoming a way to look at my own life through those moments. J.D. spends a lot of time not quite knowing what he’s doing, trying to make sense of the people around him and the choices in front of him, and that feels familiar in a way that doesn’t really go away with age. This project is me revisiting those lessons… to sit with them a little longer and see what still holds up.
